A facial scrub can lighten up your skin, you have to include it in your weekly skin care regime. Exfoliating at least once a week can scrub away dead cells from the surface of your skin to make way for the new cells underneath it to make your skin always looking younger.
Usage According to your Skin Type
For Dry to Normal Skin – you can exfoliate 1-2 times a week.
For Oily to Combination Skin – you can exfoliate every other day.
For Acne Prone Skin – you can exfoliate once a week to keep the pores clean to prevent acne breakouts.
*If you have sensitive skin or if you already have acne breakout do not scrub or exfoliate your skin as it can worsen your skin situation.
Tips and Tricks
- If you don’t have a facial scrub, you can use a facial brush or a soft flannel. Just gently massage it into your skin with a little amount of facial wash.
- Is facial scrub too rough for you? Just use a little amount of it and then add more if you feel its not enough. In this way, you can control the exfoliant.
- You can also exfoliate your lips just remember scrubs are not food especially if it’s not natural do not swallow it.
